Am I a candidate for weight loss surgery?

Bariatric surgery is typically recommended for people with a BMI of 35+, or BMI over 30 with a serious weight-related health condition. Depending on the procedure, patients often lose 20 to 50% of their total body weight.

BMI is a measure of body fat based on height and weight. A healthy BMI ranges from 20 to 25; anything above 25 may indicate you are overweight.
