Dr. Lisa Ditchek is a fellowship-trained Adolescent Medicine physician and the Director of Adolescent Services at Maimonides Medical Center. She completed her Pediatrics Residency at New York-Presbyterian/Columbia University Irving Medical Center and her Adolescent Medicine Fellowship at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. She specializes in reproductive and sexual health, menstrual management, behavioral and psychological health, eating disorder care, and adolescent risk screening and guidance. Dr. Ditchek brings a psychologically minded, developmentally attuned approach to care. She integrates mindfulness-informed strategies to support teens’ emotional wellbeing, resilience, and autonomy. Her clinical style is collaborative and holistic, centered on meeting adolescents where they are and empowering them to thrive.
