DIRECTOR of NURSING for CARDIAC PROCEDURAL SERVICES (Non-Union)

We currently seek a Director of Nursing for Cardiac Procedural Services to be responsible for the direction and leadership of operational, financial, programmatic and personnel activities in the Cardiac and Vascular procedural areas (for ambulatory operations). This includes establishing, meeting and continuously monitoring the goals and objectives while maintaining alignment with the strategic goals and objectives. In this role, you will also be responsible for nursing practice oversight by organizing and leading the delivery of nursing care for designated patient care area, including:
- Analyzing clinical practice and identifying opportunities to improve quality, safety, effectiveness and efficiency with Primary and Specialty care;
- Identifying clinical indicators to measure and improve care;
- Maintaining compliance with clinical policies, procedures, and regulatory agencies such as DOH and Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare organizations;
- Supervision of registered nurses/healthcare providers who deliver nursing care.
We require:
- BSN or Masters of Science in Nursing required;
- OR, IR or Cardiac Procedural area experience required
- Minimum 3 years Nursing Leadership in procedural area and/or operating room
- Excellent communication, organizational and interpersonal skills.
