Dr. Philip Montana, MD, MFA, is a Sports Medicine physician who specializes in the treatment of musculoskeletal disorders utilizing non-surgical techniques including diagnostic and interventional ultrasounds. Prior to medical school, Dr. Montana completed a BFA in Dance Performance from the University of Florida and an MFA in Dance Performance from NYU's Tisch School of the Arts. He then went on to earn his medical degree from Dartmouth College then completed his residency in Internal Medicine at Huntington Memorial Hospital in Pasadena, CA. Subsquently, Dr. Montana then completed his fellowship in Sports Medicine at Harvard's Boston Children's Hospital and then a second fellowship at BCH in Musculoskeletal Sports Ultrasound. Dr. Montana has danced professionally in NYC and Boston for over 10 years and he specializes in the care of both adult and pediatric athletes with a focus on performing artists.
