Dr. Hashmi is a distinguished interventional cardiologist with affiliations at renowned institutions such as Maimonides Medical Center and Maimonides Midwood Community Hospital. Concurrently, he holds the position of Clinical Assistant Professor at SUNY Downstate Medical Center. He completed his medical education at Allama Iqbal Medical College in Lahore, Pakistan, followed by residency training in Internal Medicine and fellowships in Cardiology and Interventional Cardiology at Maimonides Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York. Dr. Hashmi is board certified in Internal Medicine, Clinical Cardiology, Interventional Cardiology, Echocardiography, Nuclear Cardiology, and Vascular Ultrasound Interpretation. His extensive training has equipped him with advanced skills in diagnostic and interventional cardiology procedures.
Dr. Hashmi's clinical expertise spans a wide range of cardiovascular interventions, specializing in coronary angioplasty and stenting, peripheral vascular interventions, and structural heart procedures.
