Dr. Strauss matriculated at Albert Einstein College of Medicine and completed her Obstetrics and Gynecology residency at the North Shore-LIJ, Northwell Health/Zucker School of Medicine. where she served as Academic Chief Resident and was awarded for Excellence in Obstetrics by the Society for Maternal Fetal Medicine. She completed her Maternal Fetal Medicine fellowship at Mount Sinai West, Icahn School of Medicine.

Dr. Strauss has authored multiple publications and presented her research at national meetings. Her research interests include prenatal genetics, gestational diabetes, hematologic disorders in pregnancy, and expanding the use of ultrasound on Labor and Delivery.
