Alexandra Soyfer, MS, CCC-SLP specializes in working with neurologically impaired adults, as well as adults with head and neck cancer. Although Alexandra was born in Moscow, she completed her B.S. at New York University and her M.S. at Long Island University, Brooklyn Campus. She is fluent in Russian and is moderately fluent in Hebrew. Alexandra has been a Speech Language Pathologist for over 19 years in acute care and long-term settings. With the help of her colleagues, she developed clinical programs that are evidence-based and community needs driven. She has assisted in clinical research concerning pill swallowing in adults, influence of culture on dysphagia and changes in swallowing physiology in normal aging and persons with dementia. She has presented locally, nationally and internationally.
