Marlies Biesinger is a certified nurse midwife at Maimonides Health. She received her Doctorate of Nursing Practice and Master of Science in Nursing degrees at Columbia University. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree at Vanderbilt University where she majored in women’s and gender studies and Spanish. She is passionate about intersectional feminism, reproductive health and rights, reproductive justice, sexual education, and trauma-informed care.
