Dr. Lisa C. Huo has been serving the Sunset Park Chinese and Hispanic population for over 10 years. She completed medical school training at State University of New York Downstate Medical School and her residency training at State University of New York Stony Brook. She is a strong proponent of preventive pediatrics and she enjoys counselling parents about anticipatory guidance and childhood behaviors to promote a sound foundation for parents to raise a healthy child.Over the years, she has developed particular expertise in the management of obesity and breastfeeding. Dr. Huo has been a lactation consultant for the past 4 years and she has assisted numerous new mommies engage in successful breastfeeding.
