Furman, CPNP is a neonatal nurse practitioner at Maimonides Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York, dedicated to providing expert, compassionate care to critically ill newborns and their families. Prior to becoming a neonatal nurse practitioner, she spent seven years as a pediatric emergency department nurse, where she developed expertise in rapid clinical decision-making, critical thinking, and supporting families during times of crisis.

In the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), she partners closely with families and the multidisciplinary care team to ensure every infant receives the highest quality, evidence-based care and the strongest possible start in life.
