Cristina Quintero Estades is a fellowship-trained breast imager and interventionalist with a passion for early breast cancer detection, breast cancer screening education, and comprehensive women's health. Born and raised in San Juan, Puerto Rico, Dr. Quintero earned her undergraduate and medical degrees at The University of Puerto Rico where she graduated with high honors. Dr. Quintero has published articles in the field of breast imaging and presented at national radiology conferences. Throughout her training, Dr. Quintero has seen what is possible when women have access to education and the appropriate diagnostic tests that will maximize their chances of finding early curable breast cancer which is why she believes in a personalized approach to breast care based on individual risk factors. Dr. Quintero enjoys participating in community outreach events and actively serves as an educator on issues of women's health and empowerment, as well as women's access to comprehensive healthcare with the goal to educate about breast health, early breast cancer detection, and self-advocacy.
