Born and raised in NYC my goal is to give back to the community that has given me so much. I like to be able to relate to my patients and build trust amongst them to give them the best care possible. I chose Thoracic Surgery because in addition to treating cancer we offer help to patients with a wide variety of not only lung pathology, but esophageal, airway, mediastinal and chest wall disorders that can have a debilitating effect on quality of life. I was fortunate enough to have my surgical training at Maimonides and join my mentors as a partner, but also under the tutelage of world renowned thoracic surgeons at Mount Sinai, that allows me to offer top thoracic surgical care in Brooklyn. I am a faculty advisor for the MMC Global Health Institute and am committed to improving access to quality healthcare for all people.
