CLINCAL NURSE SPECIALIST
SURGICAL ICU
Monday – Friday; 9am – 5pm 
No holidays/weekends

Requirements: 

·         Clinical expertise in a focus area: Critical Care

·         Evidence-Based Practice

·         Collaboration, consultation, education, mentoring, and change leadership

·         Coordinates and guides clinical activities/projects of nurses within a practice area (Critical Care)

·         Responsible for maintaining current professional knowledge and competencies and contributing to the advancement of the practice of nursing at the local and national level

·         Master’s degree in Nursing (Graduated preparation must have included clinical application of the CNS role component) Minimum of three to five years of clinical experience and                     expertise in specialty area

Preferred: 

·         Board certification as a CNS in current clinical specialty
