We are currently seeking an experienced Marketing Project Manager to develop, coordinate and deliver the Heart and Vascular Institute’s marketing communications related to community outreach initiatives, patient experience and engagement. The project manager will work closely with the central Marketing & Communications Department at Maimonides Health to execute marketing campaigns for the Heart and Vascular Institute aligned with strategic priorities. Marketing related duties include Heart and Vascular Institute website update, development of patient and physician promotional materials (digital and print), creation and management of patient video testimonials, etc. In this highly visible role, you will also implement strategies to enhance community outreach by planning and executing health screening events in conjunction with the Community Relations Department. The ideal candidate will serve as liaison with community organizations, providers, vendors and internal Maimonides staff regarding Heart and Vascular Services; and effectively research and analyze viable options and resources for marketing and promotional events. In addition, you will represent the Heart and Vascular Institute in meetings and/or organizational functions, ensure projects/events remain within budget and manage all event planning included catering, invitations, collateral, and reserving location for events.
We require:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration is vital; Master’s degree in business or public health preferred.
  • Minimum 3 years related experience, preferable in a hospital or large healthcare facility essential.
  • Experience in Community Outreach and similar engagement activities.
  • Work select evening and weekend outreach events as needed.
  • Excellent presentation, interpersonal and verbal/written communication skills
  • Computer proficiency is essential (MS Office); Electronic Health Record Systems, such as Allscripts, preferred.
