About Me

Dr. Sarah Rosanel, MD was born in Casablanca Morocco and grew up in Paris, France. She came to New York when she was 17 years old and went to college at Yeshiva University - Stern College for Women. She graduated with a BA in Biochemistry. Dr. Rosanel was always involved in research so she decided to dedicate a full year doing research at NYU after college. Dr. Rosanel went on to her medical journey to study in Israel at the Technion Israel Institute of Technology, world renowned research facilities known for its many Nobel Prize laureates, with whom she was privileged to work with. She then came back to NYC to complete her Internal Medicine residency in Brooklyn at Maimonides Medical Center. She is currently completing her Cardiology fellowship at the same institution. She has published many medical articles and perspective pieces on various medical journals. Dr. Rosanel holds many leadership positions with renowned organizations including present member of the board of the New York State Chapter of the American College of Cardiology - NYACC Communications FIT Liaison. Vice President of Virtual Strategy at the American Heart Association (AHA) Cardiovascular Fellows Society of Greater New York Area. In addition, Dr. Rosanel is a member of the ACC's NYACC Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Task Force; ACC Geriatric Cardiology FIT and early career work group; Faculty mentor New York State Chapter (NY ACC mentor program) and a member of the Grading committee- Annual Young Scholars Program at ACC.21.
