Dr. Sanskriti Mishra is the the Associate Stroke Director and Director of Stroke Education and Research in the Department of Neurology. She is an Assistant Professor of Neurology at SUNY Downstate Health Sciences University. She completed her residency in Neurology at Memorial University of Newfoundland in Canada and fellowship in Vascular Neurology at North Shore University Hospital/Northwell Health in Manhasset, NY. Dr. Mishra's interests include hospital quality improvement, stroke in the young, and medical education. She is the site Principle Investigator of NIH-funded stroke trials such as ARCADIA, ASPIRE and SLEEP SMART. She is a member of American Heart Association/American Stroke Association, American Academy of Neurology and a fellow of the Royal College of Physicians & Surgeons of Canada.
