Dr. Kevin Becker is Chief of the Division of Hematology Medical Oncology in the Cancer Center at Maimonides Medical Center in Brooklyn, NY. Dr. Becker completed his residency in Internal Medicine and his fellowship in Hematology and Oncology, both at Columbia University Medical Center in New York. Dr. Kevin Becker is active in research in his field. His most recent educational activities include the Foundations of Clinical Medicine Preceptor and the Hematology Small Group Preceptor at Columbia University. He has been a member of many professional societies, such as the American Society of Clinical Oncology, the American Society of Hematology, the American Association for Cancer Research, and the Internal Medicine Intern Selection and Recruitment Committee at Columbia University. Dr. Becker has been granted several honors and awards, and has been the recipient of the Gerard Summer Research Fellowship and the Rosenbluth Foundation Travel Grant for clinical and research experience.
