Dr. Douglas E. Campbell is the Director of Podiatry in the Department of Orthopedic Surgery, Division of Podiatry/Foot and Ankle Surgery, at Maimonides Medical Center in Brooklyn, NY. Prior to joining the Maimonides team, Dr. Campbell was Chief Resident at New York Downtown Hospital, and Podiatry Fellow at North General Hospital. Dr. Douglas E. Campbell has published extensively in his field. Dr. Campbell is dedicated to offering podiatric care and education to people of the community and those who are in need all over the world. He has received honors throughout his career, such as the Rev. Dr. Benjamin Watkins Award. Dr. Campbell life interest is to give podiatric care for people throughout the world. In 2008, Dr. Campbell founded Footwear for the World, an organization dedicated to providing shoes and diabetic foot care for people in need.
