We are currently seeking a self-motivated, flexible Kosher Catering Services Operations Manager to direct and support activities of the department as it pertains to the operation activities and procurement process of the department. Accomplishes work requirements by orienting, training, assigning, scheduling, and coaching employees. Helps to maintain department’s cost within budget parameters. Meets work standards by following operation activities, productivity, and customer-service standards; resolving operational problems; Identifying work process improvements.
We require:
- 1-2 years of college (preferable in Cost Accounting and/or Business Management)
- 2-3 years’ experience in Food Service Management
- Experience in the use of data Systems
- Kosher kitchen management experience (2 – 3 years)
- Certification: completion of ServeSafe and Food Handlers’ course.
- Knowledge of food handling safety and sanitation standards and techniques.
- Food ordering and storage methods.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Power point
- Proficiency of filing systems, inventory, and record keeping
- Knowledge of cost accounting procedures and practices
- Proficiency in all Kosher standards
- Good interpersonal & verbal/written communication skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy, planning and prioritizing
